Luke 22:  19 - 20

While they were at supper, he took bread, said the blessing, broke the bread, and gave it to his disciples, saying:
"Take this, all of you, and eat it: this is my body which will be given up for you."
In the same way, he took the cup, filled with wine. He gave thanks to the Father, and giving the cup to his disciples, said:
"Take this, all of you, and drink from it: this is the cup of my blood, the blood of the new and everlasting covenant.
It will be shed for you and for all so that sins may be forgiven. Do this in memory of me."

John 6: 47 - 59

47 "Amen, amen, I say to you, whoever believes has eternal life. 48 I am the bread of life. 49 Your fathers ate the manna in the desert, and have died; 50 this is the bread that comes down from heaven, so that if anyone eat of it he will not die. 51 I am the living bread that has come down from heaven.  If anyone eat of this bread he shall live forever; and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world."

52 The Jews on that account argued with one another, saying, "How can this man give us his flesh to eat?"

53 Jesus therefore said to them,
"Amen, amen, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and drink his blood, you shall not have life in you. 54 He who eats my flesh and drinks my blood has life everlasting and I will raise him up on the last day.
55 For my flesh is food indeed, and my blood is drink indeed. 56 He who eats my flesh, and drinks my blood, abides in me and I in him. 57 As the living Father has sent me, and as I live because of the Father, so he who eats me, he also shall live because of me. 58 This is the bread that has come down from heaven; not as your fathers ate the manna, and died.  He who eats this bread shall live forever."

59 These things he said when teaching in the synagogue at Capernaum.
